Billy Tarrant is a master luthier and the owner of Tarrant Guitars, a company that specialises in crafting custom-made guitars of exceptional quality.

There is nothing “Factory” about what Tarrant Guitars is. Each instrument is built one at a time, taking up to 180 hours.

Prior to building guitars in Tasmania for 12 years, Billy spent some years with his great friend and mentor Stu ” Sonny boy ” Forbes in Far North Queensland learning all the skills necessary to not only craft a fine instrument, but all manor of guitar repairs in a climate where guitars literally “fall apart”.
